Viles Florides<\/strong> is a movement promoted by the Confederaci\u00f3n de Horticultura Ornamental de Catalunya (CHOC) to recognize the municipalities that work to improve green areas.<\/p>\n

For Viles Florides, landscaping goes beyond providing pleasant spaces and takes into account values \u200b\u200bsuch as the protection of green spaces, the improvement of the quality of life of its neighbors, the state and conservation of urban furniture, the presence of playgrounds, social awareness through sustainable policies or the development of local economies through the attractiveness of urban parks and gardens.<\/p>\n

Viles Florides is a recognition of the work of the municipalities to improve the urban space.<\/strong><\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Currently in Catalonia there are 142 distinguished municipalities such as Vila Florida<\/strong> and as a novelty, this year 2020, Andorra adds its first \u201cparroquias\u201d to the movement.<\/p>\n
