The telecommunications company Goufone<\/a><\/strong>, form Gurb (Osona), is deploying its fiber optic network throughout Catalonia. Before the end of 2021, it plans to reach Vilassar de Mar<\/a> and Premi\u00e0 de Mar<\/strong>. In Maresme there are already more than 83,000 homes that have access to this company’s fiber optic network.<\/p>\n

In addition to Matar\u00f3<\/strong><\/a>, where there has been fiber optic from this company for months, and Vilassar de Mar<\/a> and Premi\u00e0 de Mar<\/strong>, other municipalities in the region that will join the current deployment of locations with fiber from Goufone are Argentona<\/a>, \u00d2rrius, Dosrius, Vilassar de Dalt<\/a> and Premi\u00e0 de Dalt<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n

The Osona operator has been committed from the beginning to build its own fiber optic network infrastructure. This allows it to be totally autonomous when providing its services and solving faults or incidents. It also provides specialized services for medium and large companies and to serve scattered populations, forgotten by large companies. Goufone has deployed more than 4,000km of its own fiber optic network throughout Catalonia.<\/p>\n
