Until May 1rst, and coinciding with the <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/en\/hasta-el-1-de-mayo-en-el-maresme-es-temps-de-pesols\/\">Temps de P\u00e9sols<\/a><\/strong>, 12 restaurants in the capital of <a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/\">Maresme<\/a> organize the 25th edition of El Plat de Matar\u00f3 gastronomic days, whose <strong>main ingredients are cuttlefish, Maresme peas and potatoes from <a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Mataro\/\">Matar\u00f3<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The restaurants that participate in this gastronomic days of El Plat are: <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/restaurant-cafeteria-auto-dara.negocio.site\/\">Auto d&#8217;Ara<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.rte-caminetto.com\/\">Caminetto<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.canbruguera.com\/\">Can Bruguera<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.restaurantmundial.es\/es\/\">El Mundial<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/bareuropa.net\/\">Europa<\/a>, <a href=\"http:\/\/www.lharmonia.cat\/\">L&#8217;Harmonia<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/barrestaurantiluro.com\/\">Iluro<\/a>, <a href=\"https:\/\/restaurantpunt6.com\/\">Punt 6<\/a>, Nou Daxana,<a href=\"https:\/\/nuusrestaurant.com\/\"> Nuus Hotel Atenea<\/a> and <a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/somterrarestaurant\/\">Som Terra<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n<h2>A short history of El Plat de <a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Mataro\/\">Matar\u00f3<\/a><\/h2>\n<p>In 1997 the city council of Matar\u00f3 commissioned to the chef Josep M. Mart\u00edn i Amargant, at that time president of the Gremi d&#8217;Hostaleria del <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/\">Maresme<\/a><\/strong>, to search or create a dish that would identify the city. Aware of the few references to traditional dishes typical of Matar\u00f3, Josep M. Mart\u00edn proposed a traditional cuisine dish that was highly representative of <a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/\">Maresme region<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Thus was born the Plat, with ingredients as peas, cuttlefish and potatoes.<\/strong> A dish that perfectly captures the essence of the region based on the quality of the products that make it up: fried, stewed and minced with products from the land and the sea.<\/p>\n<p>Based on this proposal, <strong>El Plat<\/strong>, which was given its name, began to promote itself with competitions, samples, tastings, markets, TV, radio and presentations in emblematic places such as the Palau Robert in Barcelona, San Sebasti\u00e1n or Bilbao. And so to this day, when the Plat is a consolidated tradition.<\/p>\n<figure id=\"attachment_14816\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-14816\" style=\"width: 790px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/\"><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"wp-image-14816 size-large\" src=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/plat-de-mataro2-1024x515.jpeg\" alt=\"\" width=\"790\" height=\"397\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/plat-de-mataro2-1024x515.jpeg 1024w, https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/plat-de-mataro2-300x151.jpeg 300w, https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/plat-de-mataro2-768x386.jpeg 768w, https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2022\/03\/plat-de-mataro2.jpeg 1280w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 790px) 100vw, 790px\" \/><\/a><figcaption id=\"caption-attachment-14816\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">EL Plat de Matar\u00f3, a base de productos de la Comarca<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2>Recipe of El Plat de Matar\u00f3<\/h2>\n<p><strong>Ingredients<\/strong>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>A cuttlefish of 500 grams<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd kilo of Floreta peas<\/li>\n<li>3 spring onions<\/li>\n<li>2 tender garlic<\/li>\n<li>1 glass of white wine from Alella<\/li>\n<li>1 small glass of virgin olive oil<\/li>\n<li>\u00bd liter of sugar water<\/li>\n<li>300 grams of Maresme potatoes<\/li>\n<li>Salt<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Base Ingredients:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>50 grams of almonds and hazelnuts<\/li>\n<li>1 nora<\/li>\n<li>1 grain of garlic and parsley<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Elaboration:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Cold, pour the olive oil and the cuttlefish cut into pieces into a saucepan. When the water from the cuttlefish has been consumed, add the onions and spring garlic. Once done we water it with the white wine. We let it shrink. Add the peas and potatoes and salt to taste. Then add the sugar water. When the cuttlefish is tender, add the minced meat.<\/p>\n<p><strong>The base:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>In a mortar, chop the almonds, the hazelnuts, the \u00f1ora (which we will have previously blanched), the garlic and the parsley.
