From north to south and from east to west, the presence of nature is one of the main characteristics of Maresme region<\/a><\/strong>. The concept of \u201csea and mountains\u201d here takes on its full meaning. It is not surprising that numerous activities related in one way or another to nature take place throughout the year. In Matar\u00f3<\/a>, the Setmana de la Natura is celebrated until Monday, June 6, and in Arenys de Mar a new edition of Arenys de Flors takes place this weekend, June 4 and 5.<\/p>\n

The municipality of Matar\u00f3<\/strong><\/a> organizes the Setmana de la Natura<\/a><\/strong> with the aim of involving residents in the conservation of nature and the environment. It also wants to promote commercial and business activities around flowers and plants. To achieve this, it has organized more than 50 activities linked to the natural spaces of the city, the discovery of environments and itineraries, the awareness of society, or dissemination.<\/p>\n

The Varador beach<\/strong>, the Cinc S\u00e9nies<\/strong>, the Parc Central<\/strong>, the Pompeu Fabra and Antoni Comas libraries<\/strong>, Can Marf\u00e0<\/strong>, Can Boet-Centre de Patrimoni Arqueol\u00f2gic i Natural<\/strong>, the Parc dels Garrofers<\/strong>, the Pla\u00e7a de Joan XXIII<\/strong> or the Pati de Can Marchal<\/strong> are some of the spaces that host the activities of the Setmana.<\/p>\n

On the weekend of June 4 and 5, Arenys de Flors<\/strong><\/a> returns, and it does so with a burst of color and animation. Throughout the town we can discover spaces and facilities decorated with plant installations. Visitors can enjoy cacti, bonsai, roses, orchids and many other flowers and plants, as well as the many scheduled activities.<\/p>\n

In the program we have conferences, concerts, theater or varied workshops.<\/p>\n
