Tei\u00e0 is a village of bourgeois tradition and history. The area was land of wine production in Roman times and in the War of Succession, Tei\u00e0 remained faithful to the troops who fought against the Bourbons invaders in the defense of Barcelona. Tei\u00e0 is basically a luxury bedroom town and, in summer, the emblem of leisure.<\/p>\n
Strolling through the center of the city, the pedestrian walks through a multitude of narrow streets and breathes economic prosperity. The houses of Tei\u00e0 were second residences, and those who have survived sanity and outburst exhale much more power than the new houses of the bourgeoisie.<\/p>\n
In Tei\u00e0 there is the Barcelona-Tei\u00e0 Tennis Club, a section of the Real Barcelona Tennis Club established in 1980. In the facilities there is also a pitch & putt and paddle tennis courts.<\/p>\n
