One more year, Calella<\/strong> beach will celebrate its particular Oktoberfest<\/strong> (October Festival). It is a fun popular celebration of German origin that attracts crowds of visitors from all over. A celebration of German beer, food and culture that offers a hilarious experience for attendees.<\/p>\n The original Oktoberfest<\/strong> has been celebrated between the months of September and October in the city of Munich<\/strong>, capital of the German state of Bavaria<\/strong>, since 1810. It is the largest popular festival in Germany and one of the largest in the world, with average annual visits exceeding the 6 million people. It lasts 16 to 17 days, starting around mid-September (always a Saturday) and ending on the first Sunday in October. Only when German Unity Day<\/strong>\u00a0(October 3) falls on a Monday does Oktoberfest last 17 days in total. It is held in the field known as Theresienwiese<\/strong> (Therese’s Meadow), near the center of Munich, near the Hauptbahnhof (Central Station).<\/p>\n Calella<\/strong> is an international event that attracts more than 2,800 musicians from all over Europe, as well as an unmissable gastronomic event where you can taste culinary specialties from Germany and many other European countries.<\/p>\n There will be music and fun from 8:00 pm to 12:00 am on weekdays, until 1:00 am on Fridays and until 2:00 am on Saturdays.
