February 20, 2020 is Thursday lardero. The day that marks in the calendar of this year, the beginning of the carnivals<\/strong>. For a little more than a week the towns of the Maresme region<\/a> will live intensely these festivities, each with its own characteristics.<\/p>\n

In Premi\u00e0 de Mar<\/strong><\/a>, Carnival overlaps with La Festa Major d’Hivern<\/a><\/strong> and the celebrations begin on February 15.<\/p>\n

Saturday, February 15<\/strong><\/p>\n

19 hours “The awakening of the penjaculpes”, parades through the old factories of the population. c.Sant Crist\u00f2fol (can Sanpere)<\/p>\n

20 hours. \u201cPosem a caldo !, recited from critical and humorous\u201c versots \u201d. Espai l’Amistat, Sant Antoni, 60.<\/p>\n

21 hours. Food trucks and food stalls for dinner enjoying good music. Nova Square.<\/p>\n

Sunday, February 16<\/strong><\/p>\n

11.30 am “The awakening of children’s penjaculpes”, children’s parade through the old factories. Exit \u00c0ngel Guimer\u00e0 street (Can Pompili).<\/p>\n

18 hours. S.M. the Rei Carnestoltes. Children’s show and snack. Pa\u00efsos Catalans Square.<\/p>\n

11.30 am Older and younger participate in disguise in the r\u00faa. From the Plaza Nova to the Plaza de los Pa\u00efsos Catalans.<\/p>\n

Upon arrival at the Plaza de la Vila preg\u00f3n del Rei Carnestoltes, verdict of the contest, final dance and family entertainment with the Els Farsants group.<\/p>\n

Sant Andreu de Llavaneres<\/strong><\/a><\/h4>\n

Llavaneres will live the rhythm of the carnival from February 16 to 26.<\/p>\n

17 hours. Great Rua of Carnestoltes. Start at the Parc de Ca l’Alfaro with the proclamation by Rei and Queen Carnestoltes. Exhibition of comparsas, dances, and performance of the band of the Municipal School of Music Llavaneres in the Plaza de la Vila.<\/p>\n

Wednesday, February 26<\/strong><\/p>\n

16.30 hours. The 2020 Carnival says goodbye with the burial of the sardine. Vila Square.<\/p>\n

Badalona celebrates its Carnestoltes 2020, from February 20 to 23.<\/p>\n

20.00 hours, Cabrera de Mar recovers the traditional Ball de Momerotes, a dance in which you have to dress up with a lot of imagination so they don’t recognize you and have to guess who you are. \u201cEnvelat\u201d Municipal<\/p>\n

Then King Carnestoltes is dismissed by burying the Sardine and hanging the Quaresma Vella. Start the countdown to get to Easter.<\/p>\n
