Its origins date back to 1989, when it debuted as the Cabrils International Music Festival, promoted by the Societat La Conc\u00f2rdia and supported by the City Council.<\/p>\n<p>Initially conceived as a festival focused on classical music, over the years it has evolved into a much more open and diverse program. As a result, the festival has gained prestige and attendance. Their repertoire blends classic blues, swing, and rhythm &amp; blues with a powerful horn section, in a concert designed to open the festival with a high-energy performance.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #333333;\"><strong data-start=\"730\" data-end=\"779\">SATURDAY, JULY 18<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Mishima<\/span><\/strong>, a leading figure in Catalan indie pop-rock, will present a repertoire that combines classics from their career with songs from their most recent work.<\/li>\n<li>They will share the stage with <strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Maika Makovski<\/span><\/strong>, one of the most versatile artists on the national scene, known for her blend of alternative rock, folk, and a highly energetic stage presence. The combination of these two acts makes this day the festival&#8217;s main attraction.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><span style=\"text-decoration: underline; color: #333333;\"><strong data-start=\"1323\" data-end=\"1373\">SUNDAY, JULY 19<\/strong><\/span><\/p>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">NOON<\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1615\">\n<li data-section-id=\"15rzce3\" data-start=\"1376\" data-end=\"1615\">Family concert at the Centre C\u00edvic La F\u00e0brica with <strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\">El Pony Menut<\/span><\/strong>. This event is aimed at children and families, continuing MUSICAB&#8217;s tradition of including an activity for all ages.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p style=\"padding-left: 40px;\"><span style=\"text-decoration: underline;\">EVENING<\/span>:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul data-start=\"1690\" data-end=\"2215\">\n<li data-section-id=\"mmr5rj\" data-start=\"1690\" data-end=\"1889\">The festival&#8217;s closing act will feature <strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Standstill<\/span><\/strong>, one of the most influential bands in Barcelona&#8217;s alternative rock scene, whose return to the stage has generated great interest among their fans.<\/li>\n<li data-section-id=\"1lh1c0j\" data-start=\"1892\" data-end=\"2215\">The evening will open with <strong><span style=\"color: #993366;\">Remei de Ca la Fresca<\/span><\/strong>, an emerging group from the Catalan music scene that blends rock, folk, and a distinctive lyrical style.
