{"id":48301,"date":"2025-01-03T17:09:26","date_gmt":"2025-01-03T17:09:26","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/?p=48301"},"modified":"2025-01-03T17:09:26","modified_gmt":"2025-01-03T17:09:26","slug":"cabalgata-de-los-reyes-magos-2025","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/ru\/cabalgata-de-los-reyes-magos-2025\/","title":{"rendered":"The Three Wise Men Parade 2025!"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>As every year, the <strong>Three Wise Men Parade<\/strong> reaches all the towns in Spain, an event during which Their Majesties of the East <strong>Melchior<\/strong>, <strong>Gaspar<\/strong> and <strong>Balthazar<\/strong>, accompanied by their faithful pages and assistants, will greet and throw sweets and candy to all the boys and girls on the eve of the Epiphany.<\/p>\n<p>As is well known, the Parade is celebrated every year on <strong>January 5th<\/strong> at dusk, following tradition, before the Three Wise Men leave the gifts in the houses during the night. Legend has it that it was during the night when Their Majesties visited Mary, Joseph and the newborn baby Jesus in the manger of Bethlehem, bringing gifts of <strong>gold<\/strong>, <strong>incense<\/strong> and <strong>myrrh<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\" class=\"aligncenter size-full wp-image-48308\" src=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Oro-incienso-mirra.jpg\" alt=\"\" width=\"746\" height=\"492\" srcset=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Oro-incienso-mirra.jpg 746w, https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/blog\/wp-content\/uploads\/2025\/01\/Oro-incienso-mirra-300x198.jpg 300w\" sizes=\"(max-width: 746px) 100vw, 746px\" \/><\/p>\n<p>Here are some of the many activities that will take place throughout the municipalities of <strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/\">Maresm<\/a><\/strong>e on this very special day:<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Mataro\/\">MATAR\u00d3<\/a>:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<p>In <strong>Matar\u00f3<\/strong>, the big week begins with the <strong>Royal Camp<\/strong>, located in the Parc Central, where children can deliver their letters to the Royal Messengers while enjoying spectacular decorations and activities related to the Parade.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li><strong>January 1:<\/strong> from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<li><strong>January 2, 3 and 4:<\/strong> from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. and from 4:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Also, from January 2 to 4, the <strong>Royal Postmen<\/strong> will travel to various points in the city to ensure that no child is left without delivering their letter, as well as handing out candy.<\/p>\n<p>And finally, the long-awaited moment will arrive on <strong>January 5<\/strong> at 12:00 p.m., with the arrival of Their Majesties at the Port of Matar\u00f3. With the help of Tempus, Tic-Tac and the new addition, Polaris (which symbolises the light of Christmas), the llaut Sant Ramon will guide the Kings to the mooring point. There, they will greet the children and receive the key to the city from the mayor, a highly anticipated moment that will give way to the Parade that will begin at 5:00 p.m. and follow the following route:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Plaza de Josep Cusachs<\/li>\n<li>Plaza de Espa\u00f1a<\/li>\n<li>Avenida de la Gatassa<\/li>\n<li>Ronda de Francesc Maci\u00e0<\/li>\n<li>Plaza de Santa Anna<\/li>\n<li>La Riera<\/li>\n<li>Plaza del Ayuntamiento (arrival expected around 9:00 p.m.)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once in the <strong>Plaza del Ayuntamiento<\/strong>, Their Majesties will address the public from the town hall balcony, closing a day full of emotions.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Premia_de_Dalt\/\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">PREMI\u00c0 DE DALT<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>In <strong>Premi\u00e0 de Dalt<\/strong>, the Three Kings&#8217; Parade will have a new route, and Their Majesties will pass through more streets of the town to delight both adults and children.<\/p>\n<p>The parade of the eagerly awaited <strong>Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar<\/strong> will start at 5:00 p.m. with the following route:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"list-style-type: none;\">\n<ul>\n<li>Via Primilia, Can Maresme crossing, Santa Anna torrent and Les Flors roundabout.<\/li>\n<li>Vilassar de Dalt road, Pened\u00e8s street, B\u00f2bila torrent, Enlace road.<\/li>\n<li>Six Towns road, Premi\u00e0 de Mar road.<\/li>\n<li>Six Towns road, Castells torrent, Sant Pere avenue, Sant Jaume street, Guillem Tell, Torras i Bages, Balmes and Jaume I.<\/li>\n<li>Ciudad de Olot street, Josep Carner, Can Malagrida, La Teta, Riera de Sant Pere and Plaza de la Vila.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Once Their Majesties arrive at Pla\u00e7a de la Vila, and after greeting the children, they will move on to the Parish of Sant Pere. Once the route is finished, the traditional grand welcome will take place at the Porxada of the L&#8217;Olivera school, led by the astrologer PRUNA and the mayor of Cabrils. Immediately afterwards, the delivery of letters to Their Majesties will begin.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Cabrera_de_mar\/\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">CABRERA DE MAR<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>On Saturday 4th January, the <strong>Journey to the Magical World of the Kings<\/strong> will once again offer an experience for the entire town of <strong>Cabrera de Mar<\/strong>, with a magical tour to discover the journey and preparations of Their Majesties for the most magical night of the year.<\/p>\n<p>The celebration will culminate with the Three Kings&#8217; Parade on 5th January, where young and old will have the opportunity to welcome the long-awaited Three Wise Men once again, a tradition that returns to the town with renewed enthusiasm. The procession will leave at 5:00 pm from the Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Egl\u00e9sia and will end its route in Cal Conde.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Argentona\/\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">ARGENTONA<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Their Majesties will arrive in <strong>Argentona<\/strong> on January 5th at 6:00 p.m. and will make the traditional route through the streets of the town. The procession will start in Sant Sebasti\u00e0 Street and continue along Gran Street, Pla\u00e7a Nova, Jacint Verdaguer Street, Nostra Senyora de Montserrat Avenue, Vilassar Road, Puig i Cadafalch Avenue and finally Pla\u00e7a Nova.<\/p>\n<p>From the municipal theater <strong>La Sala<\/strong>, Their Majesties will receive the key to the town from the hands of the mayor and will briefly address all the children.<\/p>\n<h6><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\"><strong><a style=\"color: #ffffff;\" href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Vilassar_de_Mar\/\">VILASSAR DE MAR<\/a>:<\/strong><\/span><\/h6>\n<p>On Sunday 5th January at 5.30pm, Their Majesties will arrive in <strong>Vilassar de Mar<\/strong> on what will be the most magical night of the year. The route of the procession will be as follows: Els Garrofers Industrial Estate, Montevideo Avenue, Narc\u00eds Monturiol, Cabrils Road, Santa Mar\u00eda, Octaviana Road, Mar\u00eda Vidal, Sant Gen\u00eds, Cabrils Road, Montserrat, Sant Josep, Mare Catalina Coromina, Riera d&#8217;en Cintet, Colom, Sant Joan, Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Egl\u00e9sia, Sant Joan and Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Ajuntament (arrival approx. 8.15pm). The letters will be handed over to the Three Wise Men in the Town Hall Square.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/St_Vicenc_Montalt\/\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">SANT VICEN\u00c7 DE MONTALT<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Their Majesties from the East will arrive on Sunday 5th January in <strong>Sant Vicen\u00e7 de Montalt<\/strong>, laden with gifts. They will do so in carriages and accompanied by their pages and royal postmen who will help them distribute gluten-free sweets and collect letters from all the boys and girls.<\/p>\n<p>The Royal Parade will begin its journey at 6:00 p.m. from the Camino del Padr\u00f3n to Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Esg\u00e9sia, where they will arrive around 7:00 p.m. after making the traditional offering to the baby Jesus in the church.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Gaspar, Melchor and Baltasar<\/strong> will be received by the mayor of the municipality in the tent, and children who wish to can greet them and give them their letters.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Route of the Parade:<\/strong> Camino del Padr\u00f3n, Passeig dels Pins, Montseny, Montnegre, Pica d&#8217;Estats, Costa Daurada, Mediterrani, Av. Montaltnou, Ginesta, Riera del Gorg, Av. Pa\u00efsos Catalans, Major, Sant Antoni and arrival at Pla\u00e7a de l&#8217;Egl\u00e9sia.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Llavaneres\/\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">SANT ANDREU DE LLAVANERES<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p><strong>Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar<\/strong> will parade through the streets of <strong>Sant Andreu de Llavaneres<\/strong> in the traditional Three Kings&#8217; Parade. This year, as a novelty, there will be a quiet area, where visual and auditory stimuli will be reduced to encourage people with sensory hypersensitivity or functional diversity to enjoy the passage of the floats and the Kings. It will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 6:40 p.m., leaving from Av. Pau Casals. The Parade will be organized by the City Council itself with the support of the Three Kings&#8217; Parade Commission.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Caldes_de_Estrac\/\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">CALDES D&#8217;ESTRAC<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Also on Sunday 5th January from 6pm, the procession that will accompany Their Majesties the <strong>Three Wise Men<\/strong> through the streets of <strong>Caldes d&#8217;Estrac<\/strong> until reaching Pla\u00e7a de la Vila, where they will be officially received, is expected to arrive.<\/p>\n<p>At 6pm the royal procession will begin, leaving from the roundabout of the Pizzeria Estrac, continuing along Calle de la Estaci\u00f3n, Calle del Callao and Riera fina in Pla\u00e7a de la Vila.<br \/>\nNext, in the Cultural Hall of the Caldes d&#8217;Estrac Town Hall, there will be the <strong>Royal Camp<\/strong>, where children will be able to directly deliver their letters full of wishes to <strong>Melchor, Gaspar and Baltasar<\/strong>, as well as spend a short time with Their Majesties from the East.<\/p>\n<h6><strong><a href=\"https:\/\/bestmaresme.com\/_en\/Arenys_de_Mar\/\"><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">ARENYS DE MAR<\/span><\/a><span style=\"color: #ffffff;\">:<\/span><\/strong><\/h6>\n<p>Also on Sunday 5th January in the evening the Three Wise Men will arrive in the town of <strong>Arenys de Mar<\/strong>. Their Majesties will begin their journey at the top of the Riera, at the height of Montalt Street at 6pm, and will go down to Perera Street, where the Kings will get out of their carriage and finish their journey on foot to the Town Hall Square. There they will greet the authorities and, from the balcony, they will greet all the children who are gathered in the square. Next, they will collect the letters that the children have written to them in the tent set up in the Town Hall Square.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>And these are just a handful of all the activities scheduled in the municipalities of Maresme, but there are many more!
