Maresme Sound will celebrate its second edition

Maresme Sound presents the poster for the 2021-22 edition, with the presence of artists from the Catalan independent scene and emerging groups from Mataró and the Maresme region, supporting local production.

Albert Freixas will be who will open this second edition of Maresme Sound, on September 18^th at the Doria Libros space. A concert where jazz, folk, blues … will be the protagonists.

This year the festival organized by Doria Libros y Humedal Música in collaboration with Cultura Mataró will last 9 months in different spaces in Mataró, such as the third floor of the Doria bookstore, the patio of the Ca l’Arenas art center, or the gardens of the Masía de Can Boet.

In total 11 artists or bands, including Ferran Palau, who will carry his metaphysical pop in acoustic format, Anna Andreu, one of the revelations of the year according to the specialized press, Albert Freixas, presenting his third studio album “Chroma” and Carola Ortiz who has just released “Pecata Beata”, his new work.
