In Teià has been found human settlements dating from the Neolithic period, a good proof that it is a good place to live. Iberians and Romans also left samples of their presence. The oldest houses that remain are a good example of how the present town was formed. A good handful of farmhouses grouped around church, some of which was dated on the 14th century.
During the Fiesta Mayor in honor of Sant Martí, you will eat the typical dish, the “relleno”, a stew of apples stuffed with minced meat.
Teià is a very quiet village that enjoys a certain isolation from the hustle and bustle of a big city thanks the absence of a great communication route that crosses the town, as others village in Maresme.
