To the east, the entire Maresme region borders the Mediterranean Sea. From north to south, from south to north, from Montgat to Tordera, a long beach stretches like a yellow carpet, only interrupted by a port or a geographical feature. If you love the sea this is your region.
One of the most attractive possibilities to get to know this coastline is to explore it on foot.
All along a path borders the sand and is accessible to anyone. There are some narrower sections, but in general the path is wide and in many stretches suitable for bicycles. The municipalities have made a great effort to adapt it. The section that connects Canet de Mar with Arenys de Mar, for example, is one of the widest and includes a bike lane segregated from pedestrians.
This Camino de Ronda runs parallel to the railroad, thanks to it when we get tired or it gets late, you could return to our starting point by train. Without a doubt, it is a very pleasant place to walk, breathing healthy air and with beautiful views.
If we have time we can always stop in the villages that we pass through and get to know the most attractive of each one. This path can be traveled in both directions since it is always flat path and it is usual to do it in stages.
