La Presentació School
La Presentació School is a Christian concerted school for infant, primary, secondary and high school education.
Like all Conceptionist centers, it has its origins in Carme Sallés, who at the end of the 19th century founded the Congregation of Conceptionist Religious dedicated to the Christian education of children and young people.

Joan Maragall School
In 1960 the building located on Anna M. Ravell street was opened, a building originally designed by the architect, Cèsar Martinell; he is also the architect, for example, of the old Calisay liquor factory. The first students were three groups: one of boys, one of girls and one of maritime orientation formed only by boys. Previously, all these students were located in the town in different places. The first two groups constituted the so-called “Escuela de la villa”. In 1967 it already functioned as a single graduate school with seven groups, with dining room and nursery services; these, however, with private management. The first director of the new school was the teacher, Sebastià Pons. This same year the Association of Parents of Students was constituted, being its first president, Fidel Soler.
In 1971 the second building was inaugurated in the Rial Sa Clavella, both forming an entire school compound interconnected by the interior patios and with a single address. This extension meant a significant improvement, not only with more classrooms, but with the new spaces for internal services: library, laboratory, tutoring, gym, sports courts, offices,…
As of 1980, they already had the approved municipal psychological team, with specialist teachers and with special education classrooms for the integration of students with special educational needs and the treatment of diversity that has been a basic and permanent axis of the center.
In the 1984/85 academic year, already in full democracy and with teaching powers transferred to the Generalitat, the school began its linguistic normalization process, which was completed in the 1990/91 academic year.
In the 80’s the center was already able to have the specialty of music. The children’s choir of the center was created, at the same time dances were introduced in popular festivals. In 1992 the center started using new information technologies within the Education Department’s Educational Informatics Program, with the creation of the first computer room and the preparation of the curricular project. Currently the Linkat program is applied. Physical education and sports have been another of the areas that have been promoted over the years and from the first years with which there were adequate facilities.
The 1st Arenys Cross was organized by teachers from the center. The center was also the one who organized the 1st Vila de Arenys Volleyball Trophy and from there the Volleyball Club was created. Many students have been able to participate each year in the Maresme School Games with a lot of participation and good results. And from the AMPA the rhythmic gymnastics activity began, obtaining the center team the title of Best Athlete Arenyenc in 1997. It is worth mentioning that in the last edition of the Catalan School Sailing Cup regatta held in Barcelona in June 2011 , the crews, with 6th grade students, representing the Joan Maragall School and the Arenys de Mar Yacht Club have reached the first two positions. The school has received two consecutive courses (2007/08 and 2008/09) a Baldiri Reixac award.
In June 2011, the Audiovisual Council of Catalonia (CAC) awarded, within the framework of the VIII El CAC at School Awards, the first prize for the work of sixth grade students entitled Sixth Speak, carried out in collaboration with Radio Arenys.
A final extension and improvement of the center was made with the new multipurpose room in the old fire station, a space ceded by the City Council and with the work financed by the Generalitat de Catalunya.

Sinera School
The beginnings of the Sinera School are in the street of Sant Pere de Arenys de Mar, in a building that had been built at the beginning of the 20th century.
For a century it housed several schools, under the tutelage of various religious orders and the parish of Santa Maria d’Arenys. The 2002-2003 academic year was the last for the Cassà school. Several economic problems that the cooperative of parents and teachers that managed the center and the decrease in enrollment were dragging forced the decision.
The following academic year the 120 students continued the activity in the same school building as an annex to CEIP Joan Maragall. And the following year, in the 2004-2005 academic year, CEIP Sinera already had its own personality. The name of the Sinera school was chosen in a vote open to the entire educational community and the main bulk of students and families were those of the old Cassà school while the new infant courses began to fill up and the classrooms also incorporated new students. just at a time of significant population growth.
In September 2008, the Municipal Nursery School, which had two classrooms in the Cassà building, moved to the Raureta facility. The school enjoyed the new spaces: a multipurpose room in which the main activity was psychomotor skills, a splitting classroom (foreign language classroom) and a storeroom. The school was looking forward to the new center to be built on the Bareu Rial and which would consolidate the second public school in Arenys de Mar. The 2009-2010 academic year was the last in the Cassà building.
As of the 2010-2011 academic year, a new stage begins with new facilities at Avda. Pau Costa, 73. During the month of August the transfer was made and the course began without any setbacks on September 7. The school begins its activity enjoying very suitable facilities and begins a process of growth, year by year, progressively splitting into two lines. In April 2013, the celebrations for the 10th anniversary of the school began, a celebration that also coincides with the commemoration of the Espriu Year, which the school also lives intensely and with great participation from all cycles.
