32 children’s soccer teams from nine countries are participating in the eighth edition of the International Carnaval Cup, which will be held between February 25 and 27, 2022 in Premià de Dalt (Maresme). The matches will be played at the CE Premià de Dalt facilities.
The large influx of people from previous editions has increased the desire of more teams to participate. It has gone from 8 teams in the first edition to 32 this year. Among the participants are Futbol Club Barcelona, RCD Espanyol (which has participated in all editions), Valencia CF, Sevilla, Real Sociedad, Chelsea, Betis, Dublin Saint Kevins, Macabi, Gimnàstic Manresa, Mataró, CFG Yokohama, Reus or UE Vilassar, among others.
The International Carnaval Cup is organized by Marin Sports Events, and takes place taking advantage of the parade of the grassroots soccer leagues on Carnival dates.
The main objective of the league is that the players themselves work on the values that a sport like football transmits and, above all, that all the participants and companions enjoy a great show in the best place: Maresme.
