In Maresme we find DO Alella that produces white wines of international fame. In the Maresme we can admire colonial or modernist architecture of many of its buildings. Learn history in many Iberian or Roman sites, or in its castles, that there are and well preserved. Art museums, music festivals, gastronomy, ceramics, traditions, local festivals and much more without leaving Maresme. And very close to Barcelona.
Near Barcelona, the Maresme region is the best place to live and raise children in a healthy residential area, away from pollution. Urbanizations such as Montcabrer, La Llobera, Carlos Tolrà or that of Sant Crist in Cabrils. Or Supermaresme, in Llavaneres, a large residential area with extra services for its owners and private security. Mention two more, in Teià is Sant Berger, a newly urbanization where we find large houses and sea views, or the Vinya for its orientation, location and good communications. In addition, in many of its villages we can find delicious typical desserts such as the “cremat” of Premià or Coca de Llavaneres.
