El Maresme is a region located at Barcelona north. The whole region is washed by the Mediterranean Sea and has long and clean beaches. It has a rich and varied gastronomy that can be tasted in its many good restaurants, or in its fairs and gastronomic markets. In Maresme we find DO Alella that produces white wines of international fame. In the Maresme we can admire colonial or modernist architecture of many of its buildings. Learn history in many Iberian or Roman sites, or in its castles, that there are and well preserved. Art museums, music festivals, gastronomy, ceramics, traditions, local festivals and much more without leaving Maresme. And very close to Barcelona.

In Maresme there are some products with international renown such as DO Alella wine, Llavaneres peas or strawberries from Sant Pol. Also highlight seafood products that are commercialized in La Lonja of Arenys de Mar. In addition, in many of its villages we can find delicious typical desserts such as the “cremat” of Premià or Coca de Llavaneres.
The school offer in the Maresme region is very complete. Not only are there numerous public and concerted schools, but there is also a huge offer of very high quality international private schools.
