On June 5th and 6th, Calella once again celebrates the “Fira Renaixentista”. Along two days, the Plaza de la Esdamientos and the Plaza del Ajuntament will be transformed to revive the 16th century, and will serve as the stage in which the lifestyle of the Renaissance period will be represented.
All the activities will be free and the venues where they will be held and the stalls will be limited, and there will be control of capacity and access to follow the security COVID measures.
This edition comes with more force than ever after the unemployment forced by the pandemic, and includes, among others, a children’s play area, the exhibition “Margarida Flaquer de Vall: an unusual woman” in QR format that allows virtual visits to guarantee the safety -, and decentralized workshops throughout the city. Must be added the fairgrounds with 35 craft and food stalls, street entertainment and performances. Without forgetting the classic guided routes through the Renaissance Calella carried out in collaboration with the Calella Tourist Office.
