How to go from Sant Vicenç de Montalt to Arenys de Mar, through the mountains? Is there a route between the highway, riverbeds and hills?

We start our route from Sant Vicenç de Montalt, from the C/ Ginesta car park and direction to Girona. The first point that will impress us is passing under the highway bridge, which we have 51 meters, the bridge that, at the height of Cal Segal, crosses the Riera de Torrentbó.
We leave aside the Colonia Andersen, which was built during the second half of the 20th century. We go up, through a steep street with many curves to save the incline.
Following this path we can see on the right the Torre dels Encantats, located on the Puig Castellar. About this Tower there is a love legend between a Saracen princess named Fatima and a villager from Caldes, Busquets.
And we are in Arenys de Mar. When we find a cobbled crossroads we must turn to the RIGHT towards the sea, along the Rial de Valldegata. We follow it until till arrive at the LA MUVISA shopping and leisure area and we go to look for the entrance of the pedestrian crossing, we will have to cross it.
Now we are on the beach and we will be able to enjoy the calm in winter or the bustle of summer. We must continue to the Bunker (direction Barcelona).

The Arenys de Mar Bunker is still in good condition. It is one of the 43 that we have well preserved on the Maresme coast. During the civil war (1936-1939) the repressive forces used systematic bombing of the civilian population. Then the planes that attacked Barcelona took off from Mallorca, dominated by Franco’s troops. But the bombing of the Catalan capital was not frontal. Before, the aircraft reached Arenys de Mar and flew over the Maresme. For this reason, at the end of 1936 and during 1937, the republican councils of the region decided to create a line of anti-aircraft bunkers.
Once we have passed it, we go to the nudist beach.
We continue in the direction of Caldetes and take the seafront promenade until we reach the Hotel Colon. We cross the road through the lower underpass and go up through the center of the municipality. We cross the entire Riera de Caldes up to the point where we have left it near the Highway Bridge.
We follow the same path that we have gone down, but in reverse, now going up. After passing the rusty iron gate, we turn LEFT and after about 50 meters we take the LEFT path (in fact, it is the point that we said we would take on our way back) and we follow it to the end that will take us to the C/ Coma de Bo.
On the right and at the first crossroads we turn LEFT onto C/ Arquitecto Bohigas. We follow it and we get to Montalnou Avenue. And if we go up about 3 crosses we arrive at the Car Park of C/ Ginesta, the end point of our walk.
