Yesterday, November 9th, 2021, the MICE Tourism Conference organized by the Tourism Consortium was held with presentations from Eventoplus and SITE Spain, leaders in the sector, focused on region companies that offer services in this sector and is more important every day.
This Conference was held in Mas Vives, Cabrils and included theoretical and practical training for companies on how to present their product and how to communicate it.
MICE is the acronym in English for “meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions”, everything derived from tourism of meetings, incentives, conferences and exhibitions.
Àgata Puigmal, Commercial Director of Eventoplus group, affirms that “a destination like Maresme is perfect thanks its proximity of Barcelona city, and is a good opportunity to develop this sector. It has some wonderful and very unknown spaces, it has a unique environment ”.
The event was also supported by the Barcelona Provincial Council and Barcelona Convention Bureau, which promote MICE tourism in Barcelona province.
Maresme has large spaces for holding all kinds of events, from meetings of the highest level to recreational activities to promote team building.
