According to the World’s Best Cities Ranking, Barcelona is the eighth best city in the world and the third in Europe.
After comparing several factors of each city, as well as the opinion of citizens and visitors, Barcelona was chosen the eighth best city in the world.
The main features voted are the natural environment, valuing closeness to the sea and mountains making Barcelona and nearby towns located in the Maresme area, a luxury.
Barcelona appears as a privileged city in the world, thanks to its architecture, well-being, culture, gastronomy, beaches, climate … behind cities such as London or Paris.
According to the study, this is the Ranking of the 10 best cities in the world, including Barcelona:

According to the Ministry of Energy, Tourism and Digital Agenda, during 2017 82 million international tourists visited our country.
That is, 8.9% more than what was obtained in 2016, which meant a record never reached before.
